Chandrapur District Has The Highest Tiger Density In The World

 Chandrapur District in Eastern Maharashtra in Western India is Home to the Highest Tiger Density In The World. 

The Forest Areas of Chandrapur District are currently home to 250 Wild Bengal Tigers and Tiger Cubs. 

This Number is expected to swell to at least 400 by Mid 2026. 

The Forest Areas of Chandrapur District are blessed with High Prey Density in the form of numerous Herds of various kinds of Deer and Antelope and Wild Bison.
